The Creative Arts at Cashmere are rigorous, academic pursuits
suited to students who embrace risk-taking, and
imaginative exploration.

Students study the Arts through; performance, practical work,
composition and devising; research and historical contexts
along with inquiry and innovation.

They do this in an inclusive, creative and collaborative environment
under the guidance of staff who are specialist practitioners in their
fields. Arts programmes continue through NCEA Levels 1-3 NCEA
as well as University Entrance and Scholarship subjects.

The Creative Arts Faculty also encompasses Co-Curricular activities
that are closely aligned with classroom practices. Co-Curricular Music,
Drama, and Art opportunities are offered by expert practitioners.
Students in the Arts are encouraged to participate in external
competitions, festivals, exhibitions, performances and master classes,
all of which enhance their classroom learning.
