This course includes performance, Composition and Aural Awareness. In addition, this course also introduces students to music technology with an emphasis on sound systems, recording software and equipment. This course is internally assessed only.

Contemporary Music 221

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Continues to progress students’ skills in Performance, Composition Aural and Theory in a contemporary context. Students will work with Logic Pro and will be introduced to more advanced recording and mixing skills. This course is internally assessed only.​​​​​​​

Contemporary Music 321

Prepares students for moving into Tertiary Study in Music. Students are able to decide on an individual education program that best suits their interests and talents. Choosing from Performance (Solo and Group), Composition, Song Writing and Music technology using Logic Pro (recording, editing and mixing MIDI and audio). Students will also organise and run an event at the end of the year called the ‘321 Showcase.’ This course is internally assessed only and offers the potential for University Entrance, depending on the standards selected by the student.
