Professional Development

Oversight of all Professional Learning and Development is the responsibility of the Associate Principal.

Teaching staff should discuss their Professional Development (PD) needs with their appraiser/HOD and then seek approval from their HOF for any curriculum related PD. Each HOF is responsible for the PD budget of their faculty. Any PD requests that are not curriculum/faculty based, require the approval of the Associate Principal.  

Support staff should discuss their PD needs with their appraiser/line manager and then seek approval by emailing the Executive Officer.

Once approval is received please submit an application for leave (if required) and indicate any relief required. This is done by submitting a Leave/relief booking form (accessed from the Staff Start-Up page) and attach a copy of course information document from provider (required for audit purposes).
