Enrolment Forms

Pre-Enrolment for Year 9

  1. All enrolment application forms must be received by the school by Friday, 30 July.
  2. Because of demand for places in Year 9, applications from Priority 2, 3, 4 and 5 students as defined in the Enrolment Scheme, received after 30 July, may be placed on a waiting list.
  3. A ballot will be held for priority 2, 3, 4 and 5 students early August if applications from these students exceed the number of places available.
  4. Notification of the outcome of the ballot will be posted to parents within three school days of the ballot being held.

Pre-Enrolment for Years 10 to 13

  1. All enrolment application forms must be received by the school by Friday, 27 August.
  2. A ballot will be held for priority 2, 3, 4 and 5 students early September, if applications from these students exceed the number of places available.
  3. Notification of the outcome of the ballot will be posted to parents within three school days of the ballot being held.
  • The Enrolment Scheme guarantees enrolment in the school for first priority students. For applications received after the dates outlined above, the school cannot guarantee entry into a preferred subject, course or programme.
  • The Board of Trustees will, from time to time determine the number of places available in the school for foreign fee paying students. The enrolment of foreign fee paying students will not have the effect of excluding domestic students who wish to attend the school.

Enrolment Procedures for the Special Education Unit

  1. The maximum number of places available for students in the Special Education Unit is 21.
  2. All enrolment applications must be received by the school by the enrolment closing date set each year.
  3. If the number of applications received by the closing date exceeds the number of places available, then the following priorities will be used to determine which students will be offered places in the Special Education Unit.

    The first priority will be given to students whose usual place of residence is within the school’s Geographic Zone, as defined elsewhere in the school’s Enrolment Scheme, and who have previously been educated in a Conductive Education facility.

    The second priority will be given to students whose usual place of residence is not within the school’s Geographical Zone, but who have previously been educated in a Conductive Education facility.

    The third priority will be given to students whose usual place of residence is within the school’s Geographic Zone, and who have previously been educated in a general Special Education facility.

    The fourth priority will be given to students whose usual place of residence is not within the school’s Geographic Zone, and who have previously been educated in a general Special Education facility.

    All other Special Education students shall have fifth priority for enrolment places.
  4. Where there are more applicants than available places, a ballot will be held within each priority category, in order to determine which applicants will be offered places in the school.
